Robert Evans was a leader in the swine industry.
Born in El Paso, Illinois, Evans served as president of the National Swine Growers Association and secretary of the American Duroc-Jersey Record Association.
He was editor of the Duroc Sentinel and founder of the Duroc Bulletin.
